CAPE VENUES
  by Rhebokskloof Wine Estate

There are a few basics when deciding on a venue for your special day. The
more research you can do beforehand, the easier scouting will be. Once you
have decided on the dates, time of the wedding (morning or late afternoon)
and the number of guests you would like to invite, you can move on to the
  next step.

The first thing that’s important to determine, is your budget available for your
venue. This would include the venue hire for the ceremony and the reception.
The next step will be to decide in what geographical area your wedding will
take place. This all depends on where most of you friends and family live or
an area with special meaning to you both. Once you’ve decided on the
  location, the big search begins.

Use bridal magazines and the internet, and visit bridal shows. Most venues
have photos, full descriptions of the venue, the capacity it can accommodate
and the items included in the venue fee, on their websites.

It will normally state the conve-nient times for viewing the venue as well.
Once you have researched the available venues in your price range, make
a shortlist of maximum five venues you wish to visit and view.
(The more venues you view, the more difficult the decision becomes).

To avoid disappointment, call in advance and arrange an appointment with
the function coordinator. At the same time, check the availability for the dates
  you have in mind.

View the venues; spend some time considering the pros and the cons of each
venue. Once you have both agreed, make your booking!

Enjoy the search and good luck!
